Meticulously recreated utilizing our component modeling technology to deliver the vintage character of the original amp, capturing its dynamic range and harmonic richness. From bell-like cleans to a smooth, punchy breakup, responding dynamically, just like the physical amp. 

Artist Presets

The plugin includes artist presets from Calin Enache, Charlie Robbins, Drü Oliver, Ekzakt, Mark Abrams, Mark Parfitt, Matt Lange, Pete Jonas, Taylor Larson, and Tony Martinez and more. The presets can be accessed through the plugin preset menu.

Global Plugin Features

The top section of every MixWave plugin interface includes a range of global plugin features, detailed in the Amp Plugin Global Features article . Additionally, it features a preset browser, which is outlined in the Plugin Presets and Locations article .

Pedals & Effects

Treble Booster

The classic treble booster circuit from the 60s used by countless guitar Gods. Add cut and harmonics to your tone. Fine-tune with the corresponding high-pass filter. This effect can be accessed directly on the amp module.

Overdrive

Inspired by the classic pedal originally developed in the late 70's that became well known for its warm, tube-like distortion. It's strong midrange boost and transparent sound make it perfect for adding sustain and clarity or pushing an amp into sweet, musical breakup.

  1. Drive Knob - Adjusts the amount of drive to the input signal.
  2. Balance Knob - Adjusts the output level from the pedal.
  3. Tone Knob - Controls the timbre and color of the sound.
  4. Bypass Switch - Engages or disengages the Overdrive.
  5. Dry/Wet Knob - Blends the levels of the “dry” (clean) and the “wet” (processed) signal from the pedal.

Amplifier

Tweed 1955

  1. High Pass Knob - Adjusts the high pass frequency for the Treble Booster.
  2. Ground Switch - Turns the Treble Booster On or Off.
  3. Fuse Knob - Adjusts the high pass filter for the Treble Booster.
  4. Power Switch - Turns the amplifier On or Off.
  5. Tone Knob - A single tone control that functions as a high-frequency roll-off.
  6. Inst Volume Knob - Controls gain and volume for the Instrument input.
  7. Mic Volume Knob - Controls gain and volume for the Mic input.
  8. Input Channel - Selects between the Instrument of Mic inputs.
    • Mic 1: Low impedance Mic Input
    • Mic 2: High impedance Mic Input
    • Inst 1: Low impedance  Instrument Input
    • Inst 2: High impedance Instrument Input
  9. Link Switch - An internal jumper switch, simulating the effect of manually patching the Inst and Mic inputs together.

  • Dynamic 421 – Thick low-mids with a smooth top end, great for adding weight to your tone.
  • Dynamic 441 – Tight and articulate with a balanced frequency response, detailed without being harsh.
  • Dynamic R20 – Deep and warm with a tight low-end and reduced proximity effect, great for fuller tones.
  • Tube 47 – Rich and full-bodied with a slight vintage warmth, great for adding depth.
  • Tube 251 – Open and airy with a polished high end, adds clarity to darker tones.
  • Condenser 84 – Crisp and articulate, captures the intricate details of an amp’s response.
  • Condenser Fet 47 – Solid low-end punch with a clear top-end bite, great for aggressive tones.
  • Condenser 32 – Bright and detailed with a fast transient response, captures every nuance.
  • Condenser 4011 – Neutral and natural with extended highs, perfect for a true-to-life cab sound.
  • Condenser 2011 – Slightly forward mids with a clear and controlled top end.
  • Condenser 4099 – Detailed and focused, ideal for capturing articulation and harmonics.
  • Condenser 450 – Side-address condenser with a tight, present midrange, great for edge-of-cone positioning.
  • Ribbon 122 – Warm and smooth with extended highs, retains the natural body of the cab.
  • Ribbon 42Bn – Dark and vintage, smooths out high-end fizz while keeping a natural presence.
  • Ribbon 84 – Classic ribbon warmth with a rich low-mid response and silky highs.
  • Copper – Lo-fi, midrange-focused with a unique honky character, great for creative textures.
