MixWave Store Overview
This article is a general usage guide for the MixWave website including purchasing MixWave products through the MixWave Store, account and payment information.
Browsing the Store
Product Labels
When browsing the MixWave store, products may display one or more labels to help you make informed purchasing decisions:
OWNED: You already own a license for this product. This label only appears when you are logged into your MixWave account.
SALE: This product is currently available at a reduced price.
NEW: This product was recently released and is available at introductory pricing.
OFFER: An exclusive offer is available for this product. The offer does not appear on the product page, it surfaces in your cart after you add the product. Any active offers are displayed in the My Offers section of your cart.
Products labeled SALE or NEW are already discounted and typically do not qualify for additional discount codes or promotional coupons. If a discount code does not apply at checkout, check whether the items in your cart are on sale or at introductory pricing.
Hide Owned Products
You can toggle Hide Owned in the store to hide products you already own, making it easier to browse what's new to you. This feature requires a MixWave account — if you are not logged in when toggling it on, you will be prompted to log in first.

We offer the ability to upgrade to a full Collection if you are a license owner of one or any individual plugins that are included. If a collection product has an upgrade option available, you will see a section to upgrade on the full product's page.

Once your own the collection's product page, scroll down towards the bottom to find the Upgrade to... section and click See Upgrades.

If the option is not there, please contact us to add it for you.

Although you may see language about "Licenses" throughout this process, there is no license required in order to use your Groove Pack. We are unfortunately unable to special case the language for this scenario.
Purchasing Multiple Licenses (Plugins & Drum Libraries)
We currently limit purchases to one license per product per transaction on our store.
If you need more than one, the quickest solution is to place multiple separate orders.
You can also contact our support team if you’d prefer us to create a custom order for the exact quantity you need.
After checkout, you’ll be prompted to enter your iLok username, and all licenses from that order will be deposited into that account. If the licenses need to go to different iLok accounts, please place separate orders, as only one username can be submitted per transaction.
Purchasing Merchandise
MixWave apparel is available through our online store. For physical items (e.g., T-Shirts), your order will be processed and shipped within 3 business days after purchase.
Gift cards are the perfect digital gift. We offer gift card amount options in $25, $50, $75, $100, $150, and $200.
You can purchase a gift card by navigating to the gift card product at our online store, select a desired amount, and choose to send as a gift. Choosing to send as a gift allows you to enter the recipient's details and we'll deliver the gift card to them directly.
Note that after purchase, a digital Gift Card will be sent automatically via email. Discount codes cannot be used to purchase a Gift Card.
Discount Coupons & Vouchers
Discount coupons codes may be issued through different channels such as emails and social media from time to time as part of online store promotions. Vouchers will only be issued by email in specific cases and can be redeemed the same way you would enter a discount coupon at checkout.
Coupons and vouchers are a great reason to subscribe to our newsletter for any promotional announcements. You can subscribe to our email newsletter on the MixWave website.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are digitally issued by email and can be redeemed by entering your gift card number in the Discount code or gift card field at checkout, or you can add your gift card to Apple Wallet.
Gift cards can be sent to someone as well as scheduled to send on a specific date by selecting Send As A Gift before adding it to your cart.
You can use a Gift Card to purchase any MixWave product, it can be used multiple times until the balance is depleted, it can be used in addition to any discount code, and it never expires.
Downloads
The downloads page provides access to the latest product installers, along with their changelogs and user guides.
You can search by name or filter by category, release date, recent updates, or alphabetical order. Each product card includes a Resources section where you can download the user guide and view the latest changelog. The Installers section contains the latest version number and Mac and Windows installers. Drum libraries require Native Access 2 for downloading, installation, and updates.
Additionally, if a product has been updated within the last month, a NEW UPDATE label will appear at the top of the product card.
Understanding Your Cart
When reviewing your cart before checkout, the order summary displays the following values:
Cart Value: The full value of all items in your cart at their original prices, before any discounts or sale savings are applied.
Total Discounts: The combined value of all discounts being applied to your order. This includes both automatic discounts (applied by the store) and any discount code or voucher you have manually entered.
Total Savings: The amount you are saving specifically from products that are currently on sale or at introductory pricing.
Subtotal: The amount you will be charged after all discounts and savings have been applied. Any applicable shipping and taxes are calculated at checkout.
These values are shown separately so you have a clear picture of exactly what you're paying and where your savings are coming from.
Account & Payment FAQ
How do I change my account information?
Instructions for changing your account details such as your name, email address, and billing address can be found here.
Do I still see my orders if I purchase using the same contact information?
Yes. As long as your purchases are made under the same email address, you will see them when signing into or creating your MixWave account.
Why doesn’t my purchase appear in my MixWave account?
Purchases will only appear in your MixWave account if they were made directly through MixWave or an authorized retailer using the same email address.
If you completed your purchase through our website or an authorized retailer and do not see your order, it is likely that the purchase was made using a different email address.
Licenses obtained through private resale or second-hand marketplaces cannot be linked to your MixWave account, and we are not able to retroactively add these purchases or update MixWave account ownership based on transferred licenses.
Why don't I need a password for my account?
The "email and password" login system has been deprecated outside of our control and now only requires your email and a 6-digit code that's sent to your email.
What payment methods do you accept?
The MixWave online store accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Club credit cards, as well as PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, and Venmo. MixWave cannot accept bank wire transfers or checks.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. The MixWave online store uses strong SSL encryption to protect your transactions and privacy. We never have access to your full payment information.
What currencies are used in the MixWave store?
As of January 7th 2025, all prices listed on the MixWave online store are exclusively in USD ($). This change ensures our pricing is accurately displayed and remains transparent for all customers worldwide, regardless of their location.
This does not mean you cannot purchase if your local currency is different. When you complete the checkout, your card will be charged at your bank or card issuer's exchange rate for the price in USD.
