In some cases, the MixWave plug-in licenses may not activate properly, and reinstalling the iLok License Manager might be necessary. Follow the steps for your operating system below to uninstall and reinstall the iLok License Manager correctly.
macOS
- Ensure that all applications, including the iLok License Manager, are closed.
- Download the iLok License Manager installer from the front page of iLok.com, open the .dmg file, and run the included Uninstall License Support application.
- Open a new Finder window and navigate to Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support. Locate the folder PACEAntiPiracy and delete it if still present.
- Navigate to Macintosh HD/Library/Preferences and delete the file com.paceap.eden.clientdb.v1.01.sdb if it exists.
- Click Go in the top menu while holding Option to reveal the User Library folder. Navigate to the following folders and files to delete them:
- ~/Library/Caches/com.paceap.eden.iLokLicenseManager
- ~/Library/Caches/com.paceap.iLokLicenseManager
- ~/Library/Preferences/com.paceap.iLokLicenseManager.plist
- ~/Library/Preferences/com.paceap.eden.iLokLicenseManager.plist
- ~/Library/Saved Application State/com.paceap.eden.iLokLicenseManager.savedState
- ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Extensions/aohghmighlieiainnegkcijnfilokake (if present)
- Empty your Trash bin and restart your computer.
- Run the iLok License Manager installer from the .dmg file downloaded in step 2, or download it again from iLok.com.
- Open iLok License Manager and log in with your iLok account.
Windows
- Ensure that all applications, including the iLok License Manager, are closed.
- Right-click the Windows Start Button and select Installed Apps / Apps & Features.
- Locate PACE License Support Win64, click the 3 dots on the right, and select Uninstall.
- Wait for the uninstallation process to complete, then restart your computer.
- Ensure the following folders are removed, or delete them if they are still present:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\PACE\iLokDriverPackages
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\PACE\Proxy
- C:\Program Files (x86)\iLok License Manager
- Download the latest version of iLok License Manager from iLok.com and run the installer.
- Open iLok License Manager and log in with your iLok account.
