Plugins Failing to Load in ProTools
If Pro Tools displays the error message: “The following plugins failed to load...” after installing a MixWave plugin for the first time or updating to the latest version of a MixWave plugin, please follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
Update iLok License Manager
Open the iLok License Manager application.
In the top menu bar, go to: iLok License Manager > Check for Application Updates...
Install any available updates before continuing.
Uninstall and Reinstall the Plugin
Make sure Pro Tools is completely closed.
Follow the instructions in this guide to uninstall the plugin: Uninstalling Plugins
Once uninstalled, download the latest installer for your plugin from: mixwave.com/downloads
Run the installer to reinstall the plugin.
Refresh Your License Activation
Open iLok License Manager.
Locate your MixWave plugin license.
Deactivate the license from all current activation locations.
Reactivate it on your current machine or device.
Restart Your Computer
Once the license has been refreshed, restart your computer.
Open Pro Tools and try loading the plugin again.
