Artist Presets
The plugin includes presets from Ashdown and more. The presets can be accessed through the plugin preset menu.
Global Plugin Features
The top section of every MixWave plugin interface includes a range of global plugin features, detailed in the Amp Plugin Global Features article . Additionally, it features a preset browser, which is explained in the Plugin Presets and Locations article

Amplifier
AMB EVO IV
- Input Knob - Sets the signal level through the amp.
- Input Level VU Meter - Shows a reading of 0VU on the meter for average playing dynamics.
- Bass Knob - Adjusts the amount of boost and cut at 45Hz.
- 100Hz, 180Hz, and 340Hz Sliders - Adjusts the amount of boost and cut to the corresponding frequency points.
- Middle Knob - Adjusts the amount of boost and cut at 660Hz.
- 1.3KHz, 2.6KHz, 5KHz Sliders - Adjusts the amount of boost and cut to the corresponding frequency points.
- Treble Knob - Adjusts the amount of boost and cut at 10KHz.
- Output Knob - Adjusts the overall level of the amplifier.
- Push Flat/Shape Button - In the OUT position a fixed E.Q. is superimposed on the preamp to give a bright but punchy character to the sound. Pushing this button IN returns the preamp to a Flat frequency response.
- Passive/Active Button - The Passive input (switch out) is high sensitivity and also high impedance to suit the output from PASSIVE basses. The Active input (switch in) is low sensitivity and lower impedance to suit the output from ACTIVE basses.
- Drive Plus Knob - Mix between the signal either through a clean Solid State amplification section (control on zero) or through a Dual Triode Tube amplification/overdrive section.
- Drive Plus Button - Engages the Drive Plus.
- 9 Band EQ Button - Engages the 9-band EQ.
- Dynamic Compression Knob - Adjusts the degree of compression applied to the bass signal.
- Dynamic Compression Button - Engages the Dynamic Compression.
- Sub Harmonics Button - Engages the Sub Harmonics.
- Sub Harmonics Knob - Adjusts the amount of Sub Harmonics.
- Pre/Post EQ Button - Bypasses the amp excluding the Input section to get through directly to the Output.
- Output Mute Button - Mutes the signal.
