Getting Started with iLok License Manager

iLok is a license management application used for iLok-protected plugins. In order to use MixWave plugins, an iLok account and the iLok License Manager Application are both required. iLok is entirely free to use. 

Download the iLok License Manager app here . After installation, open the application and login by using your iLok username and password.

Creating an iLok Account

If you do not already have a registered iLok account, you will need to do that in order to activate and use our iLok-enabled plugins. Go to the iLok Account registration page and complete the following:

1. Fill out the required fields in the form, then click Create Account.
2. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided.
3. Open the confirmation email in your inbox and click on the verification link to verify your account.

Your iLok User ID

Your iLok User ID is what you use to log into the iLok License Manager  application or iLok.com . When activating iLok-protected plugins, your iLok User ID is required so that a license can be deposited in your iLok account.

Updating iLok License Manager

It is recommended that iLok License manager is kept up to date to the latest version available. The latest update can be installed directly through the application by navigating to iLok License manager > Check for Application Updates... or download the latest version from iLok.com .
