Do MixWave Drum Libraries Come With MP3 or WAV Files?

Our libraries only include the Kontakt instrument and additional TCI files for Slate Trigger. They do not include a sample directory of MP3 or WAV files.

Can I Load The Samples From the Drum Library Directly onto my E-Kit Module?

Our libraries are virtual instruments built for Kontakt, with each triggered sample featuring multiple layers (e.g., in, out, overhead, and room for a single kick hit). With dynamic velocity and round robins, the drum engine provides realistic performance and full control over each kit piece through the library’s mixer interface.

Connect your e-kit or MIDI controller via USB to fully utilize the library’s features. For e-kit setup, check out our E-Kit Mapping Guide .

To load one-shot samples onto your drum module, open Kontakt in your DAW, trigger each drum sound with MIDI, and export the audio files. Transfer the files to your module following the instructions in its user manual, as loading methods can vary. Please note that the samples will be triggered as one-shots, which can result in a "machine-gun" effect.

Do MixWave Drum Libraries Work With My Electronic Drum Kit Module?

Yes, our drum libraries are effectively compatible with any electronic drum kit that can plugged into a computer (ie: via USB) and be utilized as a MIDI controller.

Are The TCI Trigger Files Multi-Velocity?

Yes, the trigger files that are included with MixWave drum libraries have multiple velocities and round robins.

Are MixWave libraries fully functional in Kontakt Player? Do I have to have the full version on Kontakt?

You do not need the full version of Kontakt. All MixWave libraries are fully functional in Kontakt Player or Kontakt and are fully functional in both versions.
