Our libraries are engineered so that there is little to zero on-board processing happening during use. However, some libraries with larger sample pools may still be heavy on your CPU depending on variables such as the library directory location, buffer size, or number of instances of the library/other plugins in your project being used. It's been commonly found the following can help reduce the impact on your CPU if needed.

Adjust Kontakt Buffer

• In Kontakt, click File > Options to open the settings window.

• Select Memory on the left side of the window.

• Adjust the preload buffer size to optimize RAM usage. This will override for all instruments that you load.
