Are there any differences between the Trial and Full products?
There are absolutely NO differences - they are exactly the same piece of software. When you activate a trial, you get the complete product for 7 days to try and test as you please. After the demo period ends, you will be required to purchase a full license to use the product.
Are there demo or free trials for MixWave libraries?
Due to limitations outside of our control, we cannot offer free trials for MixWave libraries.
Can I get a trial extension?
If your initial plugin trial period has expired, please contact us to request a trial extension.
Trial Activation Error
If you are starting a trial for the first time and are encountering the error "attempted to start the trial too many times", you first need to choose an activation method in the iLok License Manager application. Either iLok Dongle (USB), or iLok Cloud (Internet-based).
If you are activating via iLok Cloud, you may need to restart your iLok Cloud session:
- In the iLok License Manager application, go to FILE > Close Your Cloud Session.
- To reactivate your cloud session, Open the iLok License Manager application, go to FILE > Open Your Cloud Session.
Otherwise if you have already completed your trial period, you will need to purchase a full license from the MixWave website in order to use the plugin.
