I only received TCI files from the download link and not the Kontakt Instrument.
Correct. The download link that's included in your license code email is only the additional TCI files for Slate Trigger and are not required to use the drum library. To download and install the Kontakt library, you will need to activate your library in Native Access 2 using your license code.
I added my license code to Native Access, but do not see the option to install.
If you have activated a MixWave library for the first time or are trying to install a library update and Native Access does not have the option to install, it may be that you are running an older version of Native Access.
It has been recently reported that Native Instruments no longer supports older versions of Native Access 1 and that third party libraries will not deploy correctly. We strongly recommend to update to Native Access 2.
- Before updating Native Access, make sure the application is closed.
- Download and install the latest version of Native Access 2: Download NA 2 .
- After opening Native Access 2, you should see the option to install the activated library or update (if available).
Native Access 2 is compatible with macOS 10.14, 10.15, 11, 12 (latest update) and Windows 10 or 11 (latest Service Pack, 32/64-bit).
NOTE: If your operating system does not support Native Access 2 or if the issue still persists, you will need to contact Native Instruments support for any available legacy installers as we do not have access to those.
"Installation Failed" Error In Native Access
If you get an "Installation Failed" error message in Native Access, it is likely because it does not have permission to install in the desired folder location. Please follow the instructions in this Native Instruments help guide to resolve this.
If the issue still persists, you need to contact Native Instruments support for more direct technical assistance.
"Insufficient Disk Space" Error
If you encounter the "Insufficient Disk Space" error when installing a Kontakt library, you will need to install the library to a hard drive that has the required disk space.
Change Content Location Settings
- In Native Access, click Preferences.
- On the left hand side, click File Management.
- Under Content Location, click Browse and choose a location on your hard drive.
- Native Access will now install any new libraries to that location going forward.
Library Is In "Demo Mode"
Our libraries are licensed through Native Instruments and need to be activated through Native Access 2, otherwise they will operate in demo mode.
If you have properly activated your library in Native Access 2 and the issue still persists, it is likely that you'll need to update to the latest version of Kontakt.
