There are absolutely NO differences - they are exactly the same piece of software. When you activate a trial, you get the complete product for 14 days to try and test as you please. After the demo period ends, you will be required to purchase a full license to use the product.
Due to limitations outside of our control, we cannot offer free trials for MixWave Kontakt libraries.
Once the plugin has been downloaded and installed, the free trial will only start as soon as you activate the trial license in your iLok account.
If your initial plugin trial period has expired, please contact us to request a trial extension.
Once a free trial has started by activating the license, it cannot be paused or canceled. However, you can deactivate the trial license in iLok License Manager and uninstall the plugin if you no longer wish to use it. The trial license will expire automatically when the trial period ends.
If you are starting a trial for the first time and are encountering the error "attempted to start the trial too many times", the following has been reported to resolve the issue.
If the trial license has already been added to your iLok account, the activation wizard may fail to complete. You can activate the license directly in iLok License Manager:
Open iLok License Manager and log in to your iLok account.
Look for the trial license under the Available or All Licenses tab.
Right-click the trial license and select Activate.
Choose your preferred activation location (iLok USB, iLok Cloud, or Machine).
If you are activating via iLok Cloud, you may need to refresh your cloud session.
Close Your Cloud Session
Open the iLok License Manager.
Navigate to FILE > Close Your Cloud Session.
Open Your Cloud Session
Open the iLok License Manager.
Navigate to FILE > Open Your Cloud Session.
Once your session is active, try launching the plugin again.
If you have already completed your trial period, you will need to purchase a full license from the MixWave website in order to use the plugin.
